Session Calendar¶

The Session Calendar provides a visual overview of your past and planned imaging sessions.

Accessing the Calendar¶

The Session Calendar is accessible from:

• Dashboard: Quick calendar widget
• Images: Full calendar view in the gallery section

Calendar View¶

Monthly View¶

The default view shows a monthly calendar with:

• Session Indicators: Dots or icons on nights with imaging activity
• Moon Phase: Small moon phase icon for each night
• Weather Icons: Quick weather reference (if available)
• Tonight Highlight: Current date emphasized

Date Selection¶

Click any date to:

• View sessions from that night
• See astronomical conditions
• Access captured images
• Create a new planned session

Session Information¶

Past Sessions¶

For dates with imaging activity, view:

Session Timeline¶

A timeline view shows:

• When each target was imaged
• Filter changes throughout the night
• Breaks and interruptions
• Equipment events (focus runs, meridian flips)

Quick Stats¶

Summary statistics for the session:

• Total integration time
• Average FWHM (if measured)
• Temperature range
• Autofocus frequency

Planning View¶

Upcoming Nights¶

The calendar shows planned sessions:

• Scheduled Targets: What you plan to image
• Moon Phase: Planning around moon
• Darkness Hours: Available imaging time
• Weather Forecast: If integrated

Best Nights¶

The calendar can highlight optimal nights:

• New moon periods
• Long darkness hours
• Clear weather forecasts

Click a session to open the full details page:
