This page provides a short overview of the technical foundation behind AstroManager.

Hosting¶

AstroManager is hosted only in Germany using Hetzner infrastructure (Ubuntu Server).

That means the core AstroManager services and data stay within German hosting locations instead of being distributed across multiple international cloud regions.

Identity Provider¶

AstroManager uses Keycloak as its identity provider.

Keycloak is an open-source identity and access management platform that handles login, authentication, and user-session management for AstroManager.

Privacy and Compliance¶

The combination of German hosting and a self-managed identity provider is intended to support GDPR-compliant operation of AstroManager.
