Upcoming Features¶
Image Import
Import local image metadata and low-resolution thumbnails so captured work can be graded and counted toward targets and imaging goals.
Processing Integration
Image Grading will be extended for better integration with processing tools such as PixInsight, for example by preparing or moving images above a certain grade into processing folders used by workflows like WBPP.
Large File Library Management
AstroManager will get tools for handling large collections of already captured files so existing data can be organized, reviewed, and reused more easily.
Collaborative Targets
Planned support for working collectively on targets and imaging goals, so progress and captured work can be coordinated more easily across multiple users.
Offline Mode
Better support for setups where the N.I.N.A. client does not have internet access.
More Target Types
Planned support for planets, the Moon, comets, and the Sun.
Calibration Frame Management
Dark and flat management is planned for future versions.
Workflow Improvements
Further improvements around Sky Atlas, Remote Control, and Target Management.
